What is a ‘scribe?
One description of a scribe is a person who makes copies of the ancient writings for the Government and Priests.
Could it be the Churches would want to make changes, so the people would do as they believed they should?
And for the Government, they might want the writings to be understood in favor of the Government, in order to control the people easier.
Copying manuscripts of the Old Testament in the original Hebrew language as originated by the Scribes long, long, before Jesus.
Pope Damascus, way back in 382, had the entire Bible translated into Latin by St. Jerome. As Jerome read the texts he like any of the translators, would have interpreted them from his/their state of beliefs. It is Jerome’s Latin translation of the Bible that is said to be the official version of the Bible accepted by the Catholic Church.
The King James Version was translated by 54 men who used all the older versions along with the original manuscripts, and each decided on how he believed the passages should read. There have been over 300 corrections since the 1613 version of the King James Version. What does that tell you? Just imagine it is you who has to translate old manuscripts, would you not choose what words and the passages meant to you?
Maybe that is WHY Jeremiah said
THE FALSE PEN OF THE SCRIBES MADE WORDS INTO A LIE.
There is no original manuscripts of the Old Testament today.
Do I say I have no sin? Yes I do, at least I think I don’t , but according to John… I do and I am deceiving myself by saying, I do not.
Maybe I do not understand what sin really is. Guess I should get my dictionary and find out, because I do not want to suffer.
Do I ever ‘offend? I’m sure I do.
So then when I offend someone, it will be me who suffers.
Do I ever get ‘offended? I do.
Then I am sinning and I will suffer for being offended.
Do I ever get ‘angry’? Yes, yes I do.
So each time I get ‘angry,’ I sin and I will suffer.
Guess I need to be AWARE of getting angry so I stop it before it starts, because I do not want to suffer.
Am I ever ‘displeased’ by ‘someone ‘or by ‘something’?
Yep, I do get ‘displeased.’
Then each time I am ‘displeased,’ I sin and I will suffer.
Do Not Freak Out About This Post.
Just what is the ‘truth’ we are to know? And if it is ‘truth’ that sets us ‘free’, what are we set free from?
Guess we should know a meaning for the word.
Truth, ‘what actually occurred.’
Okay, so what ‘actually did occur…in the beginning?
And where might this ‘void’ exist, that ‘brings forth all things?
And Consciousness IS -Where ALL things come from.
Then we are told
It clearly states that we, man were created in Gods
IMAGE AND LIKENESS
Why are we told God looked like man?
Or that we look like God?
If we do not?
Wouldn’t that mean, God, the Creator looks like us?
What else could it mean?
Think about that one because, without God, without Consciousness, there wouldn’t be nothing.
At least think about it because we are told that we are one with our God. One with Consciousness.
And how about what man is today learning?
Yes, man creates his world out of the VOID of his
Just like the Creator from the Bible.
Mans Thoughts, Ideas and Images
Project out as ‘forms.’
As US. As our REALITY.
And now seriously think about this one.
Is the ‘truth’ we are to know, it is our self’s who are the creators?
If man is one with his God, Consciousness
Then God, Consciousness, is man and man is God, Consciousness
Is it not true…
Without God there is nothing.
Without Consciousness, there is nothing.
Without your Consciousness…There is nothing?
Will understanding this…set us free?
Double means, ‘composed of two unlike parts’
‘A double minded man’ is a man or women who ‘combines’ GOOD and BAD thoughts in his thinking.
Sometimes our GOOD thoughts weigh more than the BAD ones and all is GOOD.
But then we allow the BAD thoughts to out weigh the GOOD ones, and we encounter BAD things.
Yes, a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Family. Home. Work. Play. Love. Health.
Purify your THOUGHTS ‘double minded man.
Pure means, ‘not mixed.’
Which thoughts will be your master?
What good are Bible passages if no one practices them?
It seems like, YES.
YES, because Jesus did preach many of the beliefs of Buddha.
The Buddha like sayings by Jesus, were said by Buddha 500 or so years before Jesus. Jesus and his ways were much like those of Buddha.
Buddha: “Consider others as yourself.” Dhammapada 10:1
Jesus: “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31
Buddha: “Abandoning the taking of life, the ascetic Gautama dwells refraining from taking life, without stick or sword.” Digha Nikaya 1:1.8
Jesus: “Put your sword back into its place; for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword.” Matthew 26:52
BUDDHA: “Perishable is a city built on sand.”
JESUS: “A foolish man, which built his house on sand.” Matthew 7:26
BUDDHA: “Confess before the world the sins you have committed.” (31)
JESUS: “Therefore confess your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed.” James-5-16
BUDDHA: “Consider others as yourself.” (33)
JESUS: “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31
These are only a few.
Could Jesus have studied Buddhism during his missing 3 years?
The above is all new to me, so I decided to take a COURSE in Buddhism to see what all I can find that would lead me to believe if Jesus followed Buddhism…since I always have to find my own facts and DO NOT FOLLOW HANDED DOWN OPINIONS AND BELIEFS.
Not just good, but very good. Is this what you believe? Or do you believe what you read in Genesis 2:5 where you are told that God could not find his first Man.
‘There was no man to till the ground.’
Where was the first Male and Female that had already been created in Gods image and whom God called very good? Why could God not find, the Male and Female that he created? Where did they go?
Since it seems God lost his first Male and Female, he has to start all over and create them again. According to the second creation, yes God did have to start over and so this time God did not make man in his image and likeness, instead, man was made from
Dust? Dust means, ‘something of no worth.‘
Seems God no longer wanted his man to be made in his image and likeness. So this time he created man from ‘something of no worth.’
It seems God also lost his first FEMALE, so God decides not only to NOT make man in his likeness, he now decides his female should not be made in his image and likeness either, nor made like the man made of dust.
So now we have a Male made of ‘dust’ and a Female made of a ‘rib’.
Interesting that a meaning for ‘rib’ is a ‘hoax,’ and a ‘hoax’ is a ‘fraud.’ Is it possible this man of ‘dust’ and woman of a ‘rib’, are ‘frauds?
If this story were true, man would have one less ‘rib’ than woman, but this is not true. Both male and female have the same amount of ‘ribs.’ 24 ribs each.
Dust also means, ‘confused.’
I guess God knew that because this man made of ‘dust, made of something of no worth’ and who was created ‘confused’ and ate from the tree, he was not the man he wanted. Nor did God want the woman who was made from a ‘rib.’
This God did not want any part of this worthless, confused man and the woman who was a ‘fraud,’ and he decides they should be punished and sent away.
And then man is told
Don’t you want to return to God?
If you do, there is a way.
It is to
Awake you that sleep for you are not make from something of no worth’.
Awake, become aware of the real you, made in Gods own image and likeness.
Awake, you are NOT the man of dust.
Just remember, NO WHERE in the Bible does it say God woke the man made of dust from his sleep.
So the question is, do YOU want to wake up? Do you want to be aware of the YOU God created in his image and likeness, and who he was pleased with? Or do you want stay asleep and live as the man of dust and the woman of a rib?
Awake means to ‘be aware.’
Do you want to be one of the MANY who do become aware that you are NOT the man of dust or the woman from a rib?

Like so many other sayings, could this one have a hidden meaning? Lets see.
First, why would Jesus want them to ‘leave their nets.’
‘Leave’ comes from the word, ’believe’ and ’believe is, ’to accept something as true without absolute proof that it is true.’
Could Jesus have been trying to tell the fishermen that it was time to ‘leave,’ to leave what they had always ‘believed and accepted’ about what they had been taught about God? Did Jesus want to teach them about his God, a God that they could ‘prove’?
Maybe another reason was because Jesus understand the word ’net’ can mean, ’conditions and circumstances.’
Was Jesus trying to get the men to understand that their present ‘conditions ’ were only ‘agreements?’ Agreements, because that is what the meaning for ‘conditions’ is, ‘agreements.’
If so, an ‘agreement with what? Agreements with the handed down beliefs and opinions from the ancient fathers? Ancient fathers who believed in a god of war and destruction?
Did Jesus also understand the word ’net’ can mean, ‘circumstances?
Interesting to know that the word ‘circumstance’ has a meaning of, ‘to stand around.’ And isn’t that what you do when you fish the way you have been taught to fish? You ‘stand around, waiting’? Also interesting is that ‘stand’ can mean, an ‘opportunity.’
Was Jesus giving them an ‘opportunity’ to change their ‘conditions and circumstances’? An ‘opportunity’ to understand they did not have to ‘agree’ with what they had been taught about God and man.
A God they had been taught was the real God, with no proof that He was real? And that man is made of the flesh, when he is not.
Isn’t it most interesting to know different meanings for words? So think about this…Jesus wanted the fishermen to ‘follow’ him…not follow him around the countryside…but to ‘follow’…to listen to him and to accept him as their guide.
Did Jesus want the fishermen to stop agreeing with worldly conditions and worldly circumstances and worldly beliefs and handed down opinions of God and his Creation and to ‘follow’ which in this case means to ‘listen to him and he would guide and teach them truths of a real God. And by understanding the real God, it would change their human conditions and circumstances.
Another meaning for the word ‘net’ is ‘anything that serves to ensnare.’ Ensnare is to, ‘trap and take power over someone.’
Was Jesus telling them that if they left their old ways and old beliefs and followed him, he would show them the truth of things and they could regain their power and be set free from their human conditions and circumstances.
Could that be what Jesus was really saying to them? That they could take back their God given power of freedom?
And maybe Jesus wanted them to understand that there were different ways to fish.
Since a meaning for the word ‘fish’ is ‘to search, to seek,’ did Jesus want to show them how, if they would leave their nets he would show them how to ‘search and seek’ and then to become fishermen of men?
They must have believed in Jesus
