Ancient Job asked, ‘ But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
Then Job said something very weird. He wrote, “ Wisdom and understanding, it is not found in the land of the living.’ Wow, that’s a good one.
So it would seem that is the reason ancient Paul said, “…The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.’
What do you think that means? Isn’t it from this world that you were ‘taught’ what ‘wisdom’ is? So does that mean that the ‘wisdom’ you have been taught and have believed if true, is ‘foolishness’...With God? Foolish, because our ‘wisdom’ is of ‘this world’. It appears that these ancient men believed in some other world?
Where then should you look for the place of, ‘wisdom and understanding? To whom will you look, if not man? If not in and of ‘this world…Where?
Going back to Job, we find that he believed, “There is a Spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth understanding.”
Any idea what he meant by the word, ‘understanding? Well how about the dictionary meaning of, ‘thoroughly familiar with.’ Well, the question is, how ‘thoroughly familiar’ are you with your ‘spirit.’
Do you really want to be ‘thoroughly familiar with your ‘spirit? Your God? If so, how willing are you to take the time to become ‘thoroughly familiar with’ your ‘spirit? And if you do, you will need to know what the ‘Spirit Job talks about, is?
A meaning for ‘spirit’ is a,‘living animating force with intellectual power.’
Did you know that. I didn’t. Isn’t that what God is, a ‘living animating force with intellectual power.’
‘But where shall wisdom be found….Where is the place of understanding? And Job answered his own question. Only God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof. Not man.So maybe you should forget all you have been taught from man, and go directly to God. And where is God?
Right where Jesus told you.’ Within you.
The ‘‘living animating force with intellectual power, within you,’ is the only thing that can and will give you your ‘wisdom and understanding’.
Doesn’t that tell you to do as Job said, and not to be looking in ‘this world’ for your ‘wisdom understanding’?
Instead, you are told that the place of ‘understanding‘ is with the ‘spirit‘ that lives within you. And that is why you are being told that you have to go ‘within you’ for all ‘wisdom and understanding.’ They can and are found only in the ‘spirit,’ that is ‘within you
Is it the ‘spirit within’ that you have been going to for your ‘understanding? Or do you look elsewhere? In books? Books that tell you of the writers understanding. Do you look to others…like your religion and its leaders?
Have you been looking everywhere for your ‘wisdom and understanding...and still can’t find it?
Stop. LOOK WITHIN YOUR OWN SELF, the ONLY place to find anything real.
The ancient writes knew and they did their best to show you that you cannot find true ‘understanding anywhere in this world and they did tell you were to get it….WITHIN. Go ‘within‘ because there is indeed a ‘spirit within’ you, and it is only from this ‘spirit‘ that you can find YOUR ‘wisdom and Your understanding.
