Who, What is God? Ho do know who or what your God is? What proof do you personally have of God? Why do you believe what you do about your God? Isn’t it what you have been taught…by others? Others who were taught by their ‘fathers?
Using the dictionary, you find two definitions forThe first is with a small ‘g.’ This god is defined as a ‘male deity.’ The god of the ‘fathers’ was a male god and he had all the characteristics of man. Like man, this god used fear, punishment or reward to control his creation.
This god is defined as ‘a man, godlike,’ which accounts for some who believe they are god like. This god with a small ‘g’ has been handed down to though the centuries and is the god modern man worships.
The god with a small ’g’ is a changeable god, and sometimes a god who appears as an angry uncaring god. He is a god that does not protect his creation at all times, and from the very beginning this god has played favorites. Some of his creation he created good, healthy, happy and successful, while others he created evil, sick and poor.
It was the ancient ‘fathers’ who were vain, and it was they who decided what man and god were to be. And then they worshiped both. Today we too worship that handed down, unknown god.’
Most religions/people believed the god with a small ‘g’, is the real god. This god that has been handed to you is a god created by the ancient ‘fathers.’ This god is NOT the real GOD.
It was the fathers of the distant past that Paul believed “... became vain in their imaginations….. and they became fools, and they changed God…,” into an image made like themselves, “….and began to worshiped the creature, (a human being) more than the creator.”
